$PFF One other concern now is when a fund starts those ROC is that it increases chances of receiving a revised 1099-R. Uggh.

$PFF Now that I have more time to look at this, I feel a little better about it. This seems like it was an end of year thing and that it was outside of control of ishares. So its not like they screwed anything up. It was the companies that reclassified their distributions. Hopefully it is business as usual moving forward.

$PFF This ROC is a big red flag for myself. The stability and predictably is now lost from PFF. Im considering dumping this for HPS with a current 9% yield. HPS is quite dependable and the dividend is trustworthy. Please let me hear your thoughts.

$PFF PFF saw a significant drop in its distribution to try and avoid overdistribution and having a return of capital (ROC) at its fiscal year-end (3/31). This was the second time in the last 3 months where PFF cut its distribution to try and avoid overdistributing. The fund also paid a lower December 2025 distribution to try and avoid having ROC at fiscal year-end as well.

$PFF It really doesn't matter what the explanation is for the massive dividend cut. The fact is, this has become a poorly-managed ETF. Better off with $PFFA $PSK or hell even $PGX.
