Company Profile

The fund normally invests in securities comprising the index. The index is designed to track the performance of South Korean companies that have demonstrated high relevance to defense (“Korea Defense Companies”). Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in securities comprising the index. The fund is non-diversified.

ETF leaderboard is getting interesting. The biggest movers this week were heavily concentrated around photonics, optics and defense: $FOTO +28.40% $KMCA +24.56% $LAZR +23.65% $KDEF +21.30% $LUMA +21.03% That’s not random strength. Photonics/optical exposure is clearly attracting serious momentum, while Korean defense is also heating up. When multiple ETFs in the same themes start ripping together, I pay attention. Another alert is coming soon. If notifications are off, chances are you’ll only notice the move once it’s already in progress.
