$BERY clears final EU antitrust hurdle for Amcor merger - deal set to wrap April 30. Market's been skeptical about execution given Berry's 20x net debt/EBITDA ratio, but this regulatory green light forces bears to confront the synergy potential. Earnings call same day could be fireworks.

$13.6B packaging giant now faces the real test: integration. With net debt at 1.95x equity, execution risk looms large. Earnings report same day could move the needle. Bullish on scale, bearish on leverage.

$BERY Digging the sustainability play. Berry Global's commitment to 100% recyclable packaging by 2025 is legit. Merger with Amcor could be game-changing. Watching this closely. Might initiate a small position if it dips. standout article: https://beyondspx.com/article/powering-sustainable-packaging-the-transformative-potential-of-berry-global

$AMCR $BERY Amcor, Berry Global receive U.S. antitrust clearance for combination
Amcor (AMCR) and Berry Global (BERY) announced the expiration of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 in connection with the previously announced combination of the two companies. Expiration of the waiting period satisfies another closing condition necessary for completing the combination. The companies also confirm that a number of additional approvals have been received from regulatory authorities in recent weeks, including antitrust clearances from China and Brazil. Progress toward obtaining remaining regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions is well advanced. The companies continue to expect transaction close in the middle of calendar year 2025.
