I think “buying into weakness” is actually a bit of a misnomer with
$ZOMDF.
The share price is weak. The company itself is arguably stronger than it has ever been.
Zomedica grew 2025 revenue 17% to
$32M, generated
$21.7M in gross profit at a 68% gross margin, and ended the year with roughly
$53M in liquidity. Its Therapeutic Devices business generated
$26.2M in revenue, up from
$24.9M the year before. (SEC)
And this isn’t the same company it was several years ago. The portfolio has expanded across therapeutic devices, diagnostics and development services, with products like PulseVet, Assisi, TRUFORMA, TRUVIEW, VetGuardian and VETIGEL. Management estimates the combined U.S. addressable market for its products at more than
$2 billion. (Zomedica Investors)
So I don’t necessarily view this as “buying into weakness.” I view it as accumulating shares while the market price remains disconnected from the progress the underlying company has made.
