$TLT Ouch, the 2-year jumps by 33 bps in a month as Powell signals "Higher for Longer" for the Fed Fund Rate. What this means is that those invested in the short-end of the Treasuries and Corporates, may face "slight" principal risks. If you're invested in ETFs like $VUSB PULS MINT $GSY JPST $FLUD $ICSH, and you're safety-conscious and want to maintain your principal, you might want to rejigger. Same for even those with Corp Float Rate Note (FRN) ETFs like FLOT FLRN FLTR and VRIG. The safest bet is to move to even shorter Treasuries: USFL and TFLO, with effective durations close to zero. That way, you're free from both the interest rate risk and credit spread risk, which could hit if private credit and PE exposure from software/tech exposure, hit. Usually, in recessions, a double whammy happens.

$VUSB $JEPI seeking advice… I am cash heavy and the market is shite right now. However, this looks like a steady place to park my bag. I am not sure how this all works so let me see if o am doing this right. If I go full port in this and buy a boatload of shares, do they pay that .36 dividend each other guaranteed steady income? I.e. if I bought 1000 shares can I expect to make 360$ a month? Or is there a better option out there? To the OG’s who are invested in here and willing to help out thanks for your time.

$SPY $VUSB $VGT Didn't get to 85% cash, but 40% is good enough for this nice little correction. Perhaps we move down another 5-10%, perhaps we don't 🤷‍♂️
