$CARR may be one of the cleaner “AI infrastructure” trades hiding in plain sight.
Everyone knows AI needs chips and power. But those data centers also need serious cooling.
Carrier entered 2026 with a
$1B data center backlog, commercial HVAC orders were up 35% in Q1, and data center orders reportedly surged over 500%.
Add in housing recovery upside, the A2L refrigerant replacement cycle, and a reasonable valuation vs. peers like
$TT, and this starts to look like more than a boring HVAC name.
I like
$CARR at
$72.68 or better.
