Tutor Perini Corporation received a
$60 million contract from the U.S. Coast Guard for an accelerated design-build project in St. Petersburg, Florida, awarded Aug. 13, 2026. The project will support facilities for the Fast Response Cutter and Waterways Commerce Cutter, while also covering waterfront maintenance, weapons depot improvements and reconstruction of the existing station.
The scope includes mooring and berth upgrades, navigation-aid yard improvements, building demolition, a multipurpose training facility, crew accommodations and a boat ramp. The work is intended to strengthen shore infrastructure for Coast Guard vessels and address repairs related to previous hurricane damage.
Tutor Perini was selected after submitting the highest-rated technical proposal at a fair and reasonable price. The contract was issued by the U.S. Coast Guard, part of the Department of Homeland Security, under solicitation 70Z04726RPCNI0012, with an award value of
$60 million.
