$RYCEY Rolls-Royce’s share price jumped on Wednesday after the company announced that it will focus on growing its business by partnering with Boeing, a top aircraft manufacturer. 🇺🇸 Rolls-Royce Holdings hopes to win orders from companies like Malaysia Airlines and British Airways, which opted for General Electric engines. $RYCEY Rolls-Royce Holdings Plc said it can win back business and secure new deals with an upgraded Trent 1000 engines powering Boeing Co.’s 787 model, after years of losing ground on the US planemaker’s bestselling widebody aircraft. “We’re actively in sales mode,” Watson said in an interview at the Singapore Airshow, with new engine supply deals a big focus for this year. Possible sales campaigns for the Dreamliner include Malaysia Airlines Bhd. British Airways took the unusual step a few years ago to switch to GE for its new 787s, in a public snub by the country’s flagship carrier of the biggest UK manufacturer. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-02-04/rolls-royce-seeks-to-win-back-boeing-orders-after-engine-upgrade

$RYCEY So the way I'm thinking is that we very clearly beat 2025 guidance, Tufan wouldn't have authorized another 200 million pound interim buyback if back half of 2025 didn't go well..Important number will be the new Buyback and Dividend. If people have a good enough dividend they'll want to cash in. The buyback has to exceed last year's since we brought in more cash in 2025. I'm thinking he needs to announce 1.5 billion, and add on the 200 million he can say 1.8 billion all together, which should be roughly about half the cash they'll pull in for 2026. The most important will be the 2026 guidance. Bear Case: 3.5 to 3.7 billion (operating profit and cash both) Base Case: 3.6 to 3.8 billion (this is what analysts are expecting, neutral to mildly positive stock price action) Bull case: 3.7 to 3.9 (this is what I think we need to see to continue major rally, 5 - 10% on this news) In this scenario, during H1 he can say that they are going to meet 2028 targets 2 years early again. Thoughts?

$RYCEY Rolls Royce -Asked about proposals by Airbus to expand the A350 family with a bigger A350-2000 model to counter Boeing's 777-9, Watson voiced general support but declined to be drawn into specifics. "We have a very close partnership with Airbus, which has been very successful. So we'll always want to stay aligned with their thinking of the market, and ... make sure our product strategy is aligned with their product strategy."
