$NRGV Claude Fable 5 POV: If you think the stock is worth $8+ after an offtake signs, an equity raise at $4 is the most dilutive option — instant ~20% dilution, guaranteed. Yorkville debt is only toxic if converted; repaid in cash, it’s just expensive bridge debt (~low-teens all-in) that funded in days with no roadshow, no vote, no pricing event at the lows. It also funds exactly what banks won’t: pre-NTP spend like turbine deposits, land, and interconnection fees. And the facility is sized to contracted backlog, so it scales with wins. The bet: repay before conversion matters. That’s the only story consistent with insiders buying in the $3S — if you have inside visibility that an offtake is likely, buying equity while borrowing expensively is rational. Scaling capital comes from project-level money (like the $300M OIC preferred → $1.2B capex), not the parent balance sheet.

$NRGV the short interest has been increasing and financing always brings out more bears. Shorts will have to cover and this is probably going to cause a run up in price heading into Q2 earnings next month. I think anyone who has been following this company over the last year knows that this company is going to be Russell 1000. In Australia they have too much renewable power that building new solar farms are becoming uneconomical. The economics of building battery storage systems are more economically viable so what's what they're doing. That trend is starting to happen in the US as well. Their own and operate model is what has changed my mind about Energy Vault last year and made me entry to invest. Managements execution and their ability to acquire more projects keeps me invested along with their collaboration and partnership with Crusoe to increase their margins with data centers at their site in Texas.

Energy storage is starting to heat up and the tape is finally waking up. 4 names I’m watching closely: $FLNC - grid-scale leader, backlog ~$5.6B, momentum building, upside toward $43 if rotation continues $EOSE - long-duration zinc tech, explosive +445% YoY rev growth, ~$24B pipeline, target $34 $ENVX - silicon-anode disruption play, expanding into devices + defense, steady growth story, LT ~$68 $NRGV - AI power + storage angle, $1.35B backlog (+108% YoY), near-term move toward $12 $FLNC + $EOSE remain my highest conviction pair here. Sector looks like early innings of a re-rating cycle. "Next alert is coming soon. If you’re not following with notifications on, you’re likely seeing the move after it already happened."

Energy storage is quietly rotating back into focus as power demand + AI infrastructure stress starts showing up in real numbers. $FLNC stands out with a ~$5.6B backlog, still one of the clearest pure-play grid-scale leaders as utilities continue locking in capacity. $EOSE is the high-beta name here, showing +445% YoY revenue growth in Q1, with a $644M backlog and a $24B+ pipeline - still very much a “future demand pricing” story. $ENVX is more of a long-duration tech bet, targeting consumer + defense with ~+49% YoY revenue growth, but still early in scaling phase vs peers. $NRGV sits closer to infrastructure demand, with a ~$1.35B backlog (+108% YoY) tied to grid + AI power buildout themes. This group doesn’t move on fundamentals alone - it moves in waves with energy + AI capex sentiment. When the theme is hot, beta expansion is violent.
