MDA Space shares rose after the company opened its MDA CHORUS™ Control Centre in St-Bruno-de-Montarville, Quebec, confirming that its next-generation Earth observation satellite constellation remains on track for launch in late 2026 and commercial operations in early 2027. CEO Mike Greenley called the facility a critical step toward launching and operationalizing CHORUS.
The dual-band constellation is designed to provide wide-area C-band imagery across a 700-km swath and high-resolution X-band spotlight imagery with sub-meter resolution for commercial and government customers worldwide.
Investor sentiment was further supported by RBC Capital, CIBC, Scotiabank and BMO Capital reaffirming Buy ratings, while Deutsche Bank raised its price target to C
