Former management signaling an appeal doesn’t automatically stop the receivership and today’s release itself says no appeal has been confirmed as filed yet. That’s important here. The key remains the same: • Receiver still in control • 290M common-share cancellation motion pending • Cleanup process underway • Merger target reportedly identified • Court decides the next major steps If no stay is granted and the share cancellation moves forward the path to a much cleaner shell remains intact. So, in plain English, this looks like: Old management stakeholders: “We dispute what happened and intend to challenge it” Receiver current court-supervised management: “The court put us in control and we’re cleaning up the company” The most important sentence in today’s release They explicitly say a notice of appeal has NOT yet been confirmed as filed. 👀
