$CHAC Getting close, maybe Friday?
Are they worth 3.2b? Closed at least three funding awards, close ties with UofWaterloo (whom trains quantum talent) an hour away. Phase B of the QBI.
They boast an ability to scale at room temperature. Simply and inaccurately put, Qubits are "fragile" and disruptions from energy (like heat or sound) can lead to a loss of information. Of course a number of other modalities boast the same. They have paid attention to "Quantum Networking" a key area of interest along with computing and sensing. This should qualify them for separate research awards and contracts.
All qubits are not equal, (like the chemical elements?) so it leaves the question what else can a photonic qubit do?
Science fiction is fiction until it's not.
