Leveraged ETFs are now driving markets. Leveraged ETFs now account for a record 16% of total global ETF daily trading value. This is despite representing only ~$250 billion, or 1%, of the total ~$22 trillion global ETF industry. This comes as 30-day average trading volume in leveraged ETFs has tripled since January, to a record ~$70 billion in June. Furthermore, long-leveraged ETFs are seeing ~$43 billion in average daily turnover, compared to ~$18 billion in short-leveraged funds. Meanwhile, AI-related long-leveraged ETFs now account for a record 58% of total exposure across long-leveraged ETFs, up from 26% in 2022. Among single stock long-leveraged ETFs, memory stocks alone account for 48% of total exposure. This market is seeing massive amounts of leverage. $MRAM $BBAI $SPX.X $SMH $AMDL

I sold all of my $AMDL stock about a week ago as $AMD was topping, and now I’m looking for a good re-entry level. By just looking at the following charts, there appears to be a pretty obvious buying area. The momentum traders got this one wrong on the way up, and now they’re about to get it wrong on the way down. They do that a lot because they really don’t understand or pursue value. You need to understand both value and momentum if you’re going to analyze price.

$AMD $QQQ $SPY $AMDL we are going to have one hell of a roller coaster day. There will be an attempt to pull down do to yields and oil price concerns. Market is trying to shrug it off but it will be difficult as we enter deeper constraints with global supply chain. My guess is we will float between 480-520 until earnings with potential spike to $580-599 after earnings. Then the great reset takes effect.
