$TU Added today: TELUS has pulled back to a 25-year ~0.618 retracement after a non-stop history of growth. A fundamentally strong business trading at a price that doesn't reflect its value.
From my own experience, TELUS has been reliable and easy to deal with. We switched to Rogers after the Shaw acquisition because a door-to-door sales rep straight-up lied. We were promised 3 TV boxes for one price. When the installer showed up, there was only 1 TV box on the order.
It turned into such a frustrating experience that we started recording every conversation. It took days of phone calls just to cancel within the allowed cancellation window.
We eventually switched back to TELUS with an overall better plan. Every time we contacted Rogers support, they said they would "look into it," then did absolutely nothing. It felt like they were just running out the clock, hoping we'd miss the cancellation window and get hit with a percentage-based cancellation fee on the entire plan.
