Odysight. ai announced it received two pilot orders from a major defense customer to test its AI-based monitoring solutions on airborne platforms. One pilot involves integrating and evaluating a computer-vision monitoring system on an operational combat helicopter, while the second focuses on monitoring a critical component within an airborne weapons system.
The company said successful pilots could lead to broader operational deployment. The first order covers system integration design, installation studies, hardware kits, system installation, and flight testing. The second includes a lab demonstration, functional separation testing, and data collection to assess predictive-maintenance capabilities.
