$CRON Cronos is still framed as “no U.S. exposure” because it has no direct U.S. operating assets.
But the market ignores the Gotham Green angle.
Cronos has roughly
$850M in liquidity/investments. Gotham Green is not just old history either: Jason Adler still actively manages it, and Gorenstein remains tied as co-founder/passive member.
Gotham has touched the whole cannabis value chain: iAnthus, MedMen, 4Front/Cannex, PharmaCann, Flow Kana, Viola, Coda, Foria, Lucid Green, Jane, GrowGen, Lord Jones, Trait Bio, Amuse, etc.
So no, Cronos doesn’t operate in the U.S. today.
But if regulation opens, entering through distressed assets, structured investments, partnerships, or acquisitions could be easier than the market thinks.
Balance sheet + Gotham network = underrated U.S. optionality.
