$LCID $RIVN $F $GM $TM The standardization of battery design and swapping systems among electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers is akin to the universal fuel compatibility in gasoline vehicles. It’s in the best interest of every EV manufacturer to adopt a common battery design for several compelling reasons. Firstly, it would significantly reduce production costs and complexity, as economies of scale could be achieved through uniform production processes. Secondly, consumers would benefit from the convenience and confidence of a universally compatible system, which would likely accelerate the adoption of EVs. Just as drivers don’t worry about the nozzle fitting at different gas stations, EV owners shouldn’t have to concern themselves with the compatibility of charging stations or battery swaps. Lastly, a standardized system would foster a more competitive market for battery innovation, driving advancements in technology while maintaining consumer-friendly practices.

$GM Going to say a few things before I move on from this board, I think permanently. At least GM says they are going to replace my next batch of lifters free of charge and GM has always stood behind their product and warranties for me thus far. I do think though they should do a total recall on some of the trashmissions in their suvs and pickups plus the afm vortec engines which a person I spoke to who claimed to be a former gm warranty admin told me were prone to carbon buildup, which I think leads to lifter failure. Also maybe let the grid which is powered around 60 percent by fossil fuels anyways, have a chance to strengthen and modernize if not be totally redesigned to support all these vehicles planned, and I think iron out other things that don't seem to be very well thought out with this electric vehicles push in my opinion. Everything I've said on this board today have been my opinions as a customer. So long, Slickhick.
