When Biden announced that government vehicles were going to go electric at the beginning of his term, everyone jumped on $GM and $TSLA but not to many went into $BLBD and apparently that been the only solid EV play. Bipartisan vote to electrify buses is a great opportunity IMO.

This was above the analyst estimate for EPS of 48 cents. The company reported revenue of $345.92 million. This was 15.92% better than the analyst estimate for revenue of $298.41 million.

@RenHenInvestments As someone here posted: "$BLBD ended Q1 FY 2024 with a backlog of 4600 buses, and soon after the quarter ended, the backlog reached 5000 buses. This shows the strong market demand." That kind of demand and concomitant backlog of orders can only continue to grow.

$BLBD @RenHenInvestments BLBD will be no doubt be getting funds from the ILJA, through 2026, to replace existing school buses - so it should not impact the next quarter - and there is already a large backlog of buses that have been ordered. (And the company's P/E Ratio is still quite low.) "The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, referred to as the IIJA, provides $5 billion over five years, or through 2026, to replace existing school buses, most of which operate on diesel fuel, with clean and zero-emission school buses."
