$BX $APO Blackstone takes most favorable position over $1.6B Hipgnosis takeover, FT says Blackstone (BX) has taken the most favorable position in the battle to takeover Hipgnosis Songs Fund (HPGSF) after Apollo (APO) led Concord said it would not match the Blackstone's $1.6B offer for Hipgnosis, Daniel Thomas of The Financial Times reports. Concord said it would not increase its offer of $1.25 per share for the group, which falls short of Blackstone's $1.30 per share bid. Hipgnosis' board has already backed Blackstone's offer and withdrawn support for Concord's bid.

And, only 3%, THATS ONLY 3%, of its BREIT is urban commercial while most is put into building data centers, logistics and student housing. They are transparent. Rates are done going up. Chill

$TUP This is just a very simple example using random numbers for the purpose of getting my point across. Which is the better financial deal for the purchaser buying company ‘xyz’? A- pay $2b cash/stock (if company ‘xyz’ has no debt) or B- pay $1b cash/stock and take over $1b debt (if company ‘xyz’ has debt) Option A- PAY DOUBLE, NO TAX WRITE-OFF. Option B- Purchaser only has to PAY HALF the amount in cash/stock and then just absorb the debt into their accounts, they dont pay the $1b debt they just take over financing/servicing the debt and they get a $1b TAX WRITE-OFF!! examples below of $BX buying a debt laden company and paying double value for another.
