$TUP Folks, $TUP is trading at .04 p/s compared to $NWL .40 sales! That means everything else being equal, Tupperware is trading at 10% of the price of Newell/Rubbermaid. So 10x just to get to Newell's price which is low based on historical value. Check Newell debt/revenue figure and you will find Tupperware is exactly the same ratio. So debt levels are way overblown - nobody is talking a Newell BK. A cleaning house was needed here and new people to take over the reigns as it seems the last team was resting on their Laurels - relying on the Brand to sell itself. A so-so 4th Quarter 2023 report and our new financials since Laurie Ann is in the house and talking to the public again and we will get going again! $TUP This is just a very simple example using random numbers for the purpose of getting my point across. Which is the better financial deal for the purchaser buying company ‘xyz’? A- pay $2b cash/stock (if company ‘xyz’ has no debt) or B- pay $1b cash/stock and take over $1b debt (if company ‘xyz’ has debt) Option A- PAY DOUBLE, NO TAX WRITE-OFF. Option B- Purchaser only has to PAY HALF the amount in cash/stock and then just absorb the debt into their accounts, they dont pay the $1b debt they just take over financing/servicing the debt and they get a $1b TAX WRITE-OFF!! examples below of $BX buying a debt laden company and paying double value for another.
