$BP England used to have the most powerful military on Earth. Unfortunately, none of that DNA trickled down (no pun intended) into the new CEO's DNA with spineless, always equivocal, empty statements of vapor.

$BP still at a potential buy out target. BP won’t have to buy back their own shares if that happens.

$BP $TSLA BP keen to acquire Tesla Supercharging sites for U.S. expansion, Bloomberg says BP's (BP) electric vehicle charging arm is eager to snap up Tesla (TSLA) supercharging sites across the U.S. - along with the workers behind them - and has pledged $1B to expand its network, Bloomberg News' Tope Alake reports. The company said it "is aggressively looking to acquire real estate to scale our network, which is a heightened focus following the recent Tesla announcement." It plans to spend $1B by 2030, half of it within the next two to three years to install over 3,000 charging points across the U.S., the publication notes.

$BP When oil was at $70, CEO said BP "is a cash machine." A...cash... machine.... last time I checked oil is higher. But the new CEO said everything is very challenging and we'll have to let him cash in until 2027-30 before we can navigate a company.... wait for it.... when oil is ABOVE $70

$BP BP Strategy session: 1997, pay $571m, buy huge stake in Sidanko, Russia's 5th largest oil company. Invest billions over 25 years. Pull 180-turn and forget about the whole thing. Give it all away. For free. Rebrand as Beyond Petroleum 24 years ago. Abandon that. Hire CFO bean counter to be CEO. Bring back Beyond Petroleum green investments when you made the most money as an oil company. Then come out 2 hours later and reassure investors not to worry. Nice.

User Image Suckmaidk Posted - 1 week ago

$BP Hi. My name is Murray Auchincloss. I used to be a bean counter. But now I get to say what my "strategy" may or may not be, in 2027-30. Can't give you many details...competition stuff, you know. Plus I have to cash out before I get found out. At least being vague bought me some serious wealth accumulation over the next few years, unlike my shareholders. BTW: Shari, thanks for being a good example in how to play the game.
