Their net zero pledges mean that the sources of power that they have pledged to use have to be low carbon, & they have invested in solar but their data centers still need a steady base load, so for big tech, investing in nuclear energy makes sense. MAG7 AI stocks back new Nuclear “SMR” Plants to Power “future” AI data centers beyond 2024. Let’s see if any of this “AI Nuclear Uranium Hype” actually happens when the next bear market occurs (any moment now). It’s easy to make these pie in the sky promises when “the music is still playing” & everybody is still dancing (Bank CEO’s in 2007) & (bull market peak).
