$OCFT Volatility on HK exchange kinda crazy. Low was just last week 0.49 and went up to 0.77. 3 days ago price was up +10 when marked opened, and closed red -14% on 10x average volume (big red candle). Today it opened about -8% but closed -3% at 0.60. You see that green candle. Kinda crazy. P.S. Volume on NYSE exchange is so low, average volume just shy 21k.

I think this will increase sooner or later. They just sold Ping An One Connect Bank for 933 Mio. HKD in cash, means the loss of this entity will go and they will make a gain of 309 Mio. HKD with this sale as reported yesterday, and likey will make first full year profit in 2024. And even for this transcation they have 1,3 billion chash & cash equivalent on the balance sheet. If they have established their products well, then it could easily turn around also operational, and even big dividends due to high cash amount may be not unrealistic long term (as $LU, which is also coming from the Ping An environment, also decided to delcare very huge special dividend, and Ping An is also still significant shareholder of $OCFT).

@potty1313 i am just looking at financials, and $OCFT revenue half billion, cash on hand around half bill + they sold PAOB for $110 mill, market cap just 80millions. In theory, after the sale, they should be "profitable" for this year...

What if $OCFT is "version" of $TIGR of 2020, and $LU is $FUTU"version"? Both was down like 80-90% from IPO in first year. But when market turned around in March 2020, FUTU did ~24x (from 8 to 200 in a year.) and $TIGR did ~18x (from 2 to 38). Back in 2020 $FUTU and $TIGR wasn't profitable, but they became. Just a wet dreams

@Topguy @stockmando $LU was way overcapitalized for its 100% risk model, so they are making a good decision to give some of that capital back. $OCFT only has one revenue-growing department, its virtual bank, which was sold to $LU at a fair price. I think Ping An is trying to improve value of $LU because it is way bigger than $OCFT. I am not saying $OCFT is bad investment, it is cheaper now.

@stockmando $LU just bought one of the best assets that $OCFT had. I think the owner of $LU is trying to save and doesn't care if $OCFT fails.
