$IEP Short shares were 6.3 million by mid May (15th), up from 5.4 million from mid April. This is a 17% increase in short positions over a month.

$IEP I imagine that almost all buying is done by Icahn’s people in the form of buybacks and purchasing with distributions. I can’t imagine too many people sell this. I believe the name of the game here is accumulation and patience.

$IEP donmckelvey: they've been paying dividends every year for the last 20 years. So they'll be stopping when they file for bankruptcy. So it look impossible for them to go out of bussiness for the next 10 years.

$IEP what people don’t understand is that while it’s true that new shares are being issued every quarter to pay for the dividends, it goes to the same holders, not to someone else

@Parindra $IEP quarterly distribution of $1 per unit share is payable on June 25, 2024. The next ex-date is around August 17, 2024.
