That's happened with $FRZA merged with VEEE. Its a sneaky way of introducing the company and its things. All they have to do is look at the product and decide whether it is worth buying. They already have a distribution network.

$FRZA | $VEEE | As I'm sure everyone subscribed to $FRZA knows, it is merging with its parent company $VEEE. $FRZA shareholders will receive 0.6116627 shares of $VEEE for each share of $FRZA. With $VEEE currently trading at $0.52, this gives $FRZA a post-merger value of $0.318 per share, while $FRZA is currently priced at $0.2075. Since today is the last day to buy $FRZA before delisting, there's potential for short-term gains if the merger goes through and $VEEE's price holds. If $VEEE drops below ~$0.34, the trade becomes unprofitable, but that's a long ways away from the current share price. $FRZA is on Nasdaq's suspension for delistment, on schedule per $VEEE and $FRZA's SEC filings, so I'm just realizing today is liable to me the last day $FRZA trades. The downside of this trade is that money in $FRZA would be locked up until after the merger unless it gets picked up on the OTC in the interim. Does anyone have any thoughts on this arbitrage play?
